Year 6 to 7 transfer
If your child has an education, health and care plan (EHCP), they will be allocated a school place when their EHCP is reviewed in year 6.
If your child is in year 6 and has SEND support or is being assessed for an EHCP, you should still apply through the normal round of admissions.
Starting primary school for the first time
If your child is due to start primary school and has an EHCP they will be allocated a school place by the Statutory Assessment Service. Visit Essex Local Offer for more information about the service.
