Babies born in Southend, Romford and Leytonstone

If your baby was born in:

  • Southend Hospital
  • Queen’s Hospital, Romford
  • Whipps Cross Hospital, Leytonstone

You will be registering by declaration. This will mean that you will not be able to receive your certificate on the day you register the birth. You may find it quicker to register in the local authority where you live.

If you should choose to register by declaration with us, we will send your details to your local register office so you can purchase certificates from them. Do not pay for certificates on our booking site as we will not be able to supply them.

Information about claiming child benefit
